In a testimony recorded in the Bombay High Court by Mumbai community body Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Sonu Sood was known as a 'ongoing wrongdoer'. Because of the entertainer's request, the municipal body presented an affirmation at the court. For the unenlightened, a grumbling was record against Sonu and his significant other Sonali Sood for purportedly having rolled out unapproved improvements to Juhu's Shakti Sagar Building without the BMC's consent.
The affirmation read as "The litigant is a constant guilty party and needs to appreciate the business continues of the unapproved work and subsequently indeed began remaking the destroyed segment to make it operational as an inn yet unlawfully and without consent from the License division."

It further expressed, "The appealing party has not been given authorization for change of client of the said property from private to business and there is no permit to run the business inn. The appealing party, who has completely adjusted a whole structure unauthorisedly into a lodging, is running the equivalent without a permit."
In the interim, Sonu had answered to the objection documented by BMC expressing, "I have just taken endorsement for the difference in client from the BMC. It was dependent upon the endorsement of the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA). This authorization hasn't come because of Covid-19. There are no abnormalities. I generally keep the law. This inn was utilized to house Covid-19 champions during the pandemic. In the event that the consent doesn't come, I will reestablish it to a private structure. I am engaging against the grumbling in the Bombay High Court."
